TAYLOR STONE
Founder/President
Taylor Stone leads the investment and development efforts at CESM. Mr. Stone has over 30 years of direct experience in the development of new apartment communities.
Prior to founding CESM, Mr. Stone was the Managing Director of Multi-Family with Prescott Realty Group. Before Prescott, Mr. Stone spent six years with First Worthing/Inland American, where he led the development program of the Student Housing Division, developing or acquiring properties throughout the United States.
Mr. Stone graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in real estate and finance. He received his MBA from Southern Methodist University and holds a Texas Real Estate Brokers license.
Mr. Stone has been married for 33 years and has four children. He attends Park Cities Presbyterian Church and is involved with FOCUS Ministries, Family Legacy, East-West Ministries, Boy Scouts of America, West Dallas Community School. and CASA.
POWELL SNELLING
Development Associate
Powell Snelling supports CESM’s multifamily development platform across the Dallas and Austin markets. CESM is actively engaged in the full lifecycle of multifamily real estate, including the design, construction, ownership, and sale of institutional-quality communities. Powell brings over eight years of hands-on development experience across more than 4,000 units.
In his role, Powell focuses on predevelopment, construction coordination, and asset management throughout the development process. His background also includes market research, development underwriting, and on-site construction experience with both single-family homebuilders and commercial contractors, providing a well-rounded perspective across the entire project lifecycle—from initial feasibility through stabilization and disposition.
Powell earned a degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
GEORGE POSTON
Associate
George Poston assists with CESM’s development projects, including predevelopment, permitting, design, market research, financial analysis, land acquisition, and underwriting. He has hands-on experience in the development of over 2,000 units and previous experience as a real estate analyst.
Mr. Poston holds a degree in Economics from the University of Arkansas and is a licensed real estate professional in Texas.
RUTH CABRERA
Executive Assistant
Ruth Cabrera serves as the Executive Assistant to Mr. Stone. Recently moving from Los Angeles California to Dallas Texas in early 2022, Ms. Cabrera has over 12 years of experience across engineering, architecture, and interior design industries.
Ms. Cabrera graduated from Arizona State University, receiving a degree in Art History and a minor in Organizational Leadership Studies.
EMILY YOUNG
Director of Communications
Emily Young serves as the Director of Communications, with over eight years of experience across different marketing fields. As Communications Director, Mrs. Young serves as a liaison between properties and the CESM team, as well as develops internal communications materials.
Mrs. Young graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's in Journalism and minor in Russian Language Studies, and holds a Master's from Texas Christian University. She currently lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and her daughter.
